Matt Phillipy, CPA
20+ years finance & IT leadership, delivering results supporting growing businesses in manufacturing, e-commerce, media, software, and agriculture.
Recently, Matt completed 4 years at Amazon as a senior business intelligence engineer, building systems to enhance visibility into management of $30 billion in inventory and $60 billion in transportation costs. He also delivered analytics solutions in Prime Video to automate live event forecasting and to create actionable insights on audio/visual playback quality and live event streaming infrastructure performance.
Before Amazon, Matt worked at Microsoft on the Treasury desk, developing reporting and risk management systems for the tracking of $10 billion in annual outgoing wire transfers.
Prior to Microsoft, Matt led finance/accounting at PAC Worldwide, a global manufacturer and key supplier of Amazon, FEDEX, UPS, and 3M. During his 12 years at PAC, the company tripled its sales, opened a state of the art 360,000 sq. foot manufacturing facility in Ohio, and expanded its manufacturing foot print to Malaysia.
Matt differentiates himself through leadership experience and expertise in two different disciplines – accounting/finance and IT data engineering.
His approach provides real-time transparency and insights for executive level leadership to execute on their vision. Matt’s approach empowers individuals and teams in an organization to partner and collaborate more effectively by delivering real-time insights using a common source of truth.
